The 'Parkstad Limburg Prijs' first edition started as the 'Landgraaf Prijs'(1996). It is an award for young artists, at the beginning of their careers, with some sort of link to the region. Being the first award winner, and designer for catalogues for the succeeding editions (of 2000 and 2004, together with Bert van den Bosch of Niew Interactivities), Paul Devens got invited to be a member of the jury of the 2016 edition. With Luuk Nouwen he curated and designed the exhibition of the nominees.
